San Diego Photographer, Heather Starr, is an on-location, natural light photographer serving San Diego. Heather is a sought after San Diego Photographer and enjoys photographing maternity, newborn, baby, child, family and high school senior sessions. Heather is a naturalist at heart and prefers to capture organic images rather than forced smiles and traditional poses. That said, Heather still directs her client’s shoots placing them in the best light and in more modern/casual poses. Clients have said that they love the way Heather captures the “heart and soul” of their children. Heather offers urban sessions, beach sessions and home sessions. Pacific Beach is currently Heather’s favorite beach to photograph families.

Heather has spent countless hours studying digital photography and editing. Heather carefully hand edits each portrait in her digital darkroom creating an artistic and unique final portrait. Heather is a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and Wedding Portrait Photographers International (WPPI).
